L.E.A.N. Start

L.E.A.N. is a complete approach to health that focuses on the four pillars of Lifestyle, Exercise, Attitude, and Nutrition. Research confirms that to effectively impact the health of a child, change needs to begin at home with the parent or caregiver themselves. L.E.A.N. Start classes focus on educating and empowering parents and caregivers, which can dramatically improve the health of the child and the entire family. Classes cover topics such as label reading, nutrient needs, and ideas to get kids up and moving.  This class is designed for caregivers of children 10 and under, and is delivered in six 1-hour sessions.

L.E.A.N. Essentials

This 2-hour workshop will cover an overview of the L.E.A.N. Start class in a more condensed format.

L.E.A.N. Expectations

Expecting moms need more than a prenatal vitamin. L.E.A.N. Expectations workshops will cover how to turn pregnancy into a healthy new beginning, experiencing optimal nutrition through pregnancy and beyond, and making a smooth transition from pregnancy to motherhood. This class is appropriate for women who are pregnant, thinking about getting pregnant, or have recently had a baby. This course contains three modules, and can be taken as a series of classes over a period of three weeks, or as three individual 2-hour workshops.

Lightening Your Environmental Toxicant Load

Often times we focus on nutrition when we’re reading ingredient labels. However, did you know that by learning how to read the labels of the products we put on our bodies and use in our homes, we can potentially eliminate harmful chemicals from our environment? Many of the chemicals in every day products have been linked to health concerns. By cleaning up what we are exposed to, we can lesson our potential risk. This is a one-hour workshop that will review ingredients to avoid, how to keep from being greenwashed, and how to make your own products.
